Khalid compared with WordPress, Ghost and Webflow
A fair side-by-side of Khalid, WordPress, Ghost and Webflow for running a blog, using only what each product's own documents say.
Every tool here can run a good blog. They make different choices. This page sets those choices side by side, using only what each product says in its own public documents, linked below each table. We checked them on 1 November 2026. Products change, so follow the links before you decide.

Webflow is a website builder. Its developer documents describe the Webflow CMS, where a site's collections and items live, and the Data API that manages them. Its main site and help centre did not open for our checks, so Webflow appears below only where its developer documents answer.

When another tool fits better
- Choose WordPress if you want a huge choice of themes and plugins, or a site that is much more than a blog.
- Choose Ghost if you want paid subscriptions built in, or a hosted service, Ghost(Pro), that someone else runs for you.
- Choose Webflow if your whole website is already built in Webflow and you want the blog in the same CMS.
- Choose Khalid if you want a blog beside your existing website, posts kept as plain files, and checks that stop weak posts before they go live.
Khalid has no page builder, no shop and no paid memberships, and it has no hosted service of its own. You run it, or a host you choose runs it for you.
