Canonical URL
A canonical URL is the one address you want search engines to treat as the main version of a page when the same content can be reached at several addresses, such as with and without tracking parameters. You name it with a rel="canonical" link in the page's head. It is a strong hint, not an order. Our technical SEO audit guide shows how to check it.
