Crawl budget

Crawl budget is the number of pages a search engine is willing and able to fetch from a site in a given time. Google says it matters mostly for very large sites or sites that change very often. A blog of a few hundred posts rarely runs short, but wasted crawling on duplicate addresses still slows how fast new posts are found. See our technical SEO audit guide.
