Harbour Tea Rooms
How a tea shop won back its search visits with four refreshed posts
Result Search visits back above their old peak in eight weeks.
Harbour Tea Rooms is a fictional tea shop we use as a worked example. Its blog had forty posts, and visits from search had fallen by a third over a year. The team wanted to write more. We asked them to fix what they had first.
We followed our content refresh playbook. Four guides had slipped from the first page: each one had old prices, a weak opening and no links from newer posts. We rewrote the openings, checked every fact, and linked each guide from two newer posts.
Eight weeks later, search visits were back above their old peak. Three of the four guides now bring in more readers than any post written that year.
