Interaction to Next Paint

Interaction to Next Paint, or INP, is one of the three Core Web Vitals. It measures how long a page takes to show a response after a reader taps, clicks or types, taken over the whole visit. Google calls 200 milliseconds or less good. It replaced First Input Delay in March 2024. Our notes on Google's talk about debugging INP explain how to find slow interactions.
