About Kestrel & Lime

Kestrel & Lime is a small marketing agency in Nottingham. We help local service businesses, such as clinics, trades and independent shops, get found by people nearby and keep in touch with the customers they already have.

We are three people. Each post on this blog is written by the one of us who does that work for clients every week.

Who we are

• Hannah Mercer founded the agency and leads strategy. She writes about planning, briefs and where to spend a small budget first.
• Ravi Anand leads local search. He writes about Google Business Profiles, reviews and the pages that nearby customers land on.
• Clara Osei leads email and content. She writes about lists, welcome emails and plain writing.

How we write

A guide is checked by a second person on the team before it goes up, and the post names them. A case study is shared with the client before we publish it, and we leave out anything they ask us to.

We do not publish numbers we cannot show you. When a case study says something changed, it says what the client's team now does differently, not a figure we would ask you to take on trust.
